About Hour Weddings
Located on the Rock of Gibraltar, Hour Weddings is run by Monica Coumbe together with her partner Asha Nanra.
Monica has over 10 years’ experience working in the travel sector, and had built up a strong network of connections throughout her career – which included a few years working for a renowned online gaming company in a business development capacity, and a short stint at both banking and interior design! Having realised that her passion lay in organising events and weddings, she has now established herself as Gibraltar’s leading wedding planner for couples coming from abroad. She is very well known in the local community and has successfully put together both corporate and charity events as well as high profile weddings. With her creativity and flair for detail, Monica is the lady with the contacts and our “go to” woman with all the right answers!
Asha is a marketing professional who has worked for luxury hotels in London and Gibraltar, as well as one of the top 5 PR Agencies in London. Also a local girl, Asha travels extensively with her husband, and has lived in numerous cities. Her speciality is corporate event management. Her travels have enabled her to keep her finger on the pulse of the latest trends around the world. Based in London, she visits Gibraltar regularly to help develop the business and lend a helping hand when called upon. She knows all the workings of our business and keeps us on the global map with her marketing activities.
Together, the girls work closely with a great team of young and energetic people who know how to put together the PERFECT WEDDING!
