WEDDING BLESSING

Many couples who long to get wed abroad but are put off by the complicated laws often choose to have their union blessed in a romantic location of their choice. This kind of service is also favoured by same sex couples as well as couples who would rather leave the paperwork home.

We receive many requests for beach weddings – in Gibraltar, one of our hotels provides a wonderful beach side setting for a wedding ceremony. For many, nothing is more romantic than a blessing on the beach – this is possible in Spain on some of the lovely beaches up and down the coast. However, be aware that many local authorities impose restrictions on where you can have your blessing. Planning a blessing on the beach would need some time and effort, but with patience it can be done! There are many different locations where you can have your blessing – consider a monastery, or a finca, or even the villa you plan to stay in!
