That’s right friends! Next month, we’re joining the Gibraltar Tourist Board to promote Gibraltar as a fantastic Wedding Destination. And as the only wedding planners on the Stand, we will be able to help you with all your enquiries in the most unbiased fashion! We’ll bring our creative brains with us as well as some goodies and we would love to have you come and visit our stand, even if its just for a little chat!

We are still recovering from the Summer of Love we’ve been having with the many weddings that have taken place this summer, and its not over yet! Yet, we’re working hard to get some new and exciting venues and packages ready for the Fair, so DO come and visit us there!

Gibraltar Weddings - more popular than ever!

Its a fact! Gibraltar is getting a lot of visitors this year, many of whom are coming to tie the knot! It’s a wonderful thing - knowing that this beautiful peninsula - previously ignored by many and considered to be rather boring - is now a pretty and bustling metropolis with thousands of visitors coming to its shores -from cruise ships and from the Spanish border as well as from the airport! You may not realise this, and in case we havent told you before, John Lennon and Yoko Ono were married on this little Rock, in a simple and short ceremony at the Registry.

These days, getting married in Gibraltar is a much more sophisticated affair. It can be as simple or as creative and extravagant as you like. Sunset weddings have become very popular, and so ceremonies for 6p.m onwards tend to get booked up fairly quickly!

With our new line up of packages - you need to email us for them - you could just be tempted to run away and get married in a romantic ceremony right here on the sunny Rock of Gibraltar! And if you need some help - well, you know where we are!

Take a trip to MI6 and get married 007 style in our brand new “Licensed to Wed” Package. With a jaw-dropping location for the ceremony and a luxurious reception on a Yacht, this one is for you if you’re looking for something that will wow your guests. You could even theme the whole wedding and ensure your guests all come dressed the part. Why not? After all, it is YOUR wedding!

For those of you who are looking for an effortless wedding, there’s nothing easier than getting married at your hotel - so we created a package for each of the top hotels in Gibraltar (all three!) which covers all your essentials, including a candlit dinner for two. We can also include extras like a pampering session at the salon or a tour of the Rock if you dont want to spend all your time in your hotel! The hotels, the Rock, the Caleta and the O’Callaghan Elliot are all 4 star rated and have excellent facilities including a swimming pool -perfect for your summer wedding!

Up on the Rock is an historic venue which is popular for weddings and other special occasions - we love it, so we decided to create a package around it, complete with your own canape reception for 10. Numbers can be changed - so if you are planning a wedding with 20 of your favourite people, I’m sure we will be able to accommodate them!

It’s true - Gibraltar is a favourite choice for so many couples - we get enquiries from couples who wish to fly from Brunei to Gibraltar. Couples will travel from Amsterdam to Gibraltar just to to say “I do”! And while some just want a simple registry wedding, there are those that will go for a garden wedding, or a beach wedding (that one’s in Spain) - and we are ready to help them out whatever they desire. Indian Weddings are also very welcome, as we have loads of experience there too! We know how complicated and intrinsic they can get and we are able to provide the necessary advice, contacts and know how too!

So you’re getting married and you’ve got lots to share with your friends and family! Blogs and personalised wedding websites have made it easy for us to communicate en masse with everyone, allowing us to interact with everyone on a more personal level by sharing as much as we can with them. After all, getting married is a HUGE DEAL! I was browsing the internet and came across loads of sites that provide you with ready made wedding websites, easy to use and you can customise and add everything you want to it! Why not check it out and see if its something you’d like to do for yourself? Search for some free wedding website tools and see what comes up!

Blogging is easy - there are loads of blogging sites there for you to sign up to… eblogger is probably one of the most popular - and its fun!

For many of us Facebook fans, you can also now find some new applications that can be included on your page, a couple of which you’ll find on our Facebook page -which we’ve added as favourites, in case anyone wants to check them out!
