A Pastel Garden Wedding on the Water

Charlie and Ashley’s wedding brought together 80 guests from across Spain and the UK for a pastel-perfect celebration aboard Gibraltar’s Sunborn Yacht Hotel. Coaches transported the entire party from Spain to Gibraltar for the day, and the couple made every moment of the cross-border journey worthwhile — starting with a “first look” on Caleta Beach, where they saw each other for the first time in a quiet, emotional moment away from the crowd.

The ceremony took place on the Sunborn’s open-air Wheelhouse deck, with the waters of the marina and Gibraltar’s skyline stretching out behind the couple. Tall floral pillars in soft pinks and creams lined the aisle, and Ashley walked down to meet Charlie surrounded by her bridesmaids in a beautiful palette of pastel dresses — lavender, mint, blush, and powder blue — each carrying a coordinating bouquet. Anna Miel captured the moment perfectly, with the colourful buildings of Ocean Village providing a vibrant backdrop to the group portraits.

Dinner and Dancing

Following the ceremony, the celebration moved to the Gastrobar for a seated reception. Tables were styled with glassware, blush pink napkins, and elegant floral arrangements that matched the day’s soft colour scheme. The groom’s party — all in matching beige suits — kept the energy high throughout the speeches, and there was a particularly warm moment as the couple posed together in front of the church decorated with red and white bunting.

We organised the full day from start to finish: coach logistics between Spain and Gibraltar, ceremony and reception styling, floral design, and on-the-day coordination to keep everything running to schedule. With 80 guests moving between countries, seamless transport planning was essential — and every guest arrived and departed without a hitch. Charlie and Ashley’s wedding was proof that a destination wedding doesn’t have to feel complicated when you have the right team behind you.
