Weddings at City Hall
Historic Elegance in the Heart of Gibraltar
Getting married at City Hall offers couples a simple yet elegant way to say their vows in the very heart of Gibraltar. Located in the Mario Finlayson National Art Gallery, the ceremony takes place inside a historic Regency-style building overlooking John Mackintosh Square, originally built in 1819 as a grand private residence.
The gallery itself provides a refined and intimate setting, surrounded by works from some of Gibraltar’s most celebrated artists, creating a cultural and artistic backdrop for your vows. Couples exchange their vows in a calm, elegant room on the ground floor, making it ideal for small, meaningful ceremonies with close family and friends.
Set in the centre of town, just steps from Gibraltar’s charming streets and cafés, a City Hall ceremony combines historic character, artistic atmosphere and the simplicity of a civil wedding — perfect for couples seeking a stylish yet straightforward way to begin their married life together.
