The Dell – An Intimate Garden Paradise

One of the most picturesque and intimate areas inside the botanic gardens and its most charming feature, an Italian Style sunken garden filled with water features designed in 1842. Up to 20 guests can gather closely around the couple, with more watching from the charming bridge above.

The Open Air Theatre – A Setting for Grand Celebrations

A grand amphitheatre in the middle of the Botanic Gardens, where couples say their ‘I dos’ under the open sky. Ideal for larger weddings, the theatre can host your ceremony and reception all in one place. Think canapés on the lawn, BBQ lunches, elegant dinners, or a relaxed evening under the stars, all without moving your guests. And to make the celebration feel even more magical, we can help you bring the space to life with beautiful entertainment, from musicians and chilled-out wedding sets to cocktail flairers and other memorable touches.

  • Days & Times: Monday to Saturday
  • Capacity:
    • The Dell: Up to 20 guests
    • Open Air Theatre: Up to 200 guests
  • Venue can host: Civil marriages, partnerships, and non-legal and symbolic wedding ceremonies. Additionally, the Theatre can cater for cocktail hour and receptions.

This Package Includes (The Dell)

  • Venue hire (1 hour)
  • Registry Office fees (compulsory)
  • Notary fees (compulsory)
  • One marriage certificate and postage
  • Registrant’s transportation to/from the registry office
  • PA system
  • Full support with documentation throughout the entire process
  • Meet and greet day prior to wedding
  • Wedding planner present during the ceremony to ensure everything runs smoothly

This Package Includes (The Theatre)

  • Venue hire (half day and full day hire options)
  • Registry Office fees (compulsory)
  • Notary fees (compulsory)
  • One marriage certificate and postage
  • Registrant’s transportation to/from the registry office
  • Full support with documentation throughout the entire process
  • Meet and greet day prior to wedding
  • Wedding planner present during the ceremony to ensure everything runs smoothly
