An Intimate Celebration at The Rock Hotel

Dean and Charlotte chose The Rock Hotel in Gibraltar for an intimate celebration with 35 of their closest family and friends — and from the moment the bridesmaids popped champagne on the balcony overlooking the Bay of Gibraltar, the day was set for something special. With all guests staying at the hotel itself, the entire wedding felt like a private house party: relaxed, personal, and full of laughter.

The ceremony took place in the hotel’s elegant function room, where Charlotte walked down the aisle on her father’s arm to an audible gasp from guests. Soft pink and white florals framed the room, and the couple’s first kiss was met with a shower of rose petal confetti as they made their way back up the aisle as newlyweds. After the ceremony, the couple slipped away with photographer Anna Miel for portraits in the nearby Alameda Botanic Gardens, where the lush greenery and dappled afternoon light provided a beautiful contrast to the hotel’s classic interiors.

The Reception

Back at the hotel, guests enjoyed cocktails while our planning and décor team put the finishing touches on the reception space. Tables were dressed with sage green runners, pink linen napkins, and delicate rose centrepieces — a colour palette that carried through every detail of the day. Instead of a traditional tiered cake, Dean and Charlotte opted for a towering cupcake display in soft pinks and greens, and cutting it together brought one of the biggest laughs of the evening.

The speeches were heartfelt (and the groomsmen made sure there was no shortage of jokes), before the couple took to the floor for their first dance under purple mood lighting. It was one of those weddings where every guest genuinely felt like part of the story — a reminder that small celebrations can create the biggest memories. We coordinated the venue, décor, catering, florals, and photography to ensure Dean and Charlotte could simply enjoy their day without a worry.
