Beth & Shiv – San Roque Golf Club

Two Cultures, One Love Story
Beth and Shiv’s wedding was one of our most ambitious celebrations to date — a two-day, four-event fusion of Indian and Western wedding traditions, hosted at San Roque Golf Club for 200 guests. The festivities began with a joyful Haldi and Ganesh Puja, followed by a vibrant Mehndi and Sangeet night filled with music, energetic dancing, and golden light. Every detail — from the marigold décor and red floral garlands to the rhythmic dhol beats and ornate welcome sign flanked by decorated elephants — was thoughtfully curated to honour Shiv’s Indian heritage.
The Bharat procession was a highlight, with the groom dancing joyfully through the outdoor celebration alongside family and friends, all dressed in stunning traditional attire. A beautifully decorated courtyard — with round tables, red centrepieces, and a central fountain — set the scene for the Indian reception, where an incredible menu of authentic Indian cuisine, prepared by specialist caterer Dave, ensured every guest was well fed and fully immersed in the occasion.
The White Wedding Celebration
The following day, the mood shifted to classic romance for Beth and Shiv’s white wedding ceremony. A draped arch adorned with soft white florals stood at the end of a manicured lawn, with rows of white chairs beneath the Mediterranean sun. Beth walked down the aisle in timeless elegance, and the couple exchanged vows in a heartfelt ceremony that brought two families — and two worlds — together.
Guests enjoyed a relaxed reception on the club’s terrace, complete with paella being served fresh from the pan, red floral table centrepieces, and an atmosphere that blended celebration with genuine warmth. At one point, the entire room was on their feet waving napkins in the air — a spontaneous moment that captured the spirit of the whole weekend. With a last-minute seating plan change for one of the events — shifting from casual to a fully seated dinner just an hour before — our team worked with San Roque to make a quick changeover, ensuring the couple’s revised vision came to life without missing a beat. From supplier coordination across multiple cuisines and cultural traditions to on-the-ground logistics across four separate events, this was destination wedding planning at its most rewarding.
