Sinead & Josh – The Theatre, Gibraltar, and Los Canos, Sotogrande, Spain
Guests: 85 | Photography: Hector
A Tale of Two Shores
Sinead and Josh wanted the best of both worlds — a legally recognised ceremony in Gibraltar and a reception celebration across the border in Spain — and that’s exactly what we delivered. Their 85 guests were treated to a day that spanned two countries and two stunning venues, beginning at the Alameda Open Air Theatre in the heart of Gibraltar and continuing at the beautiful Cortijo Los Caños in Sotogrande.
Sinead emerged to meet her bridesmaids — all dressed in sage green — before walking down the aisle to an emotional ceremony. The groom’s party waited on the venue’s wooden terrace, and the vows were exchanged in a sunlit setting beside a tranquil pond, with Hector capturing every candid reaction from the couple’s families.
Across the Border to Los Caños
From there, coaches transported the entire party across the border to Cortijo Los Caños, where the real party began. When Sinead saw her reception for the first time, she couldn’t contain her excitement — and it was a reaction that made every detail worthwhile. Long tables were set with olive green napkins, gold cutlery, and rustic wooden keepsake boxes, while a selection of handmade desserts and a two-tier floral wedding cake awaited the couple.
What made this wedding truly one of a kind was the entertainment. Several family members performed live throughout the evening, turning the reception into what felt like the couple’s very own bespoke concert. The night ended with a spectacular first dance surrounded by sparklers, smoke, and a crowd of guests who had danced every song. We managed all supplier coordination between Gibraltar and Spain — including a last-minute change of venue at the bride’s request — reworking logistics, catering, and décor across two locations without compromising any of the original plans.
