A Grand Celebration at the Polo Club
Tara and Andrew’s wedding at the Santa Maria Polo Club in Sotogrande was a celebration on a grand scale — 200 guests, world-class catering by Goyo, and an outdoor ceremony framed by the club’s sweeping green grounds and mature trees. The aisle was lined with lush white floral arrangements and wooden seating, creating an elegant yet natural setting beneath the Andalusian sky. As the groom and his groomsmen welcomed guests personally along the aisle, the atmosphere was warm, relaxed, and unmistakably special.
The ceremony gave way to a cocktail hour featuring live espetos grilled over open flames, along with an incredible soundtrack — from the soulful guitar of Quicke Navarro to the captivating voice of Simone, whose vocals serenaded guests as the sun dipped lower. Inside the marquee, round and long banquet tables were dressed with tall floral centrepieces of white blooms and trailing greenery, with place settings that reflected the day’s refined yet joyful style.
A Night to Remember
The food was as spectacular as the setting. Goyo Catering delivered a memorable menu, and the dessert display alone was a showstopper — an entire table of strawberry tarts, layered pastries, and individual strawberries-and-cream cups, plus a stunning three-tier cake adorned with cascading white and pink flowers. Two chefs even performed a live dessert art display, cracking open giant chocolate eggs in front of delighted guests.
As night fell, the celebration transformed. The dance floor — complete with illuminated “LOVE” letters, a gold sequin backdrop, and a ceiling covered in pink and white balloons — became the centre of the party. Guests danced through the night surrounded by soft lighting and theatrical smoke effects, making for a finale that matched the scale of the day. We managed the full production from ceremony to close, coordinating all suppliers, venue logistics, entertainment, and décor to ensure that every one of the 200 guests experienced a flawless evening.
